What a celebration! On the weekend of June 22-24, we went to Grand Rapids, MI to celebrate the marriage of Ryan Beeman and Stacey Wieland, two friends we met in Colorado and to whom we grew quite close. Here are the photos of the events around the wedding.
We had quite the adventure getting there. We drove five hours to an airport with reasonable prices. Then, our flight got canceled, and we were rescheduled. We arrived right at the end of the rehearsal on Friday afternoon.

After the rehearsal, we headed out to Lake Michigan for the afternoon. Much of the afternoon was spent playing in the water. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of this, because I was...playing in the water!

Eventually, the night wore on, and we packed up and headed back into Grand Rapids. The groomsmen sat around and offered Ryan advice about marriage. Suffice it to say that the advice is not fit to share here.
Eventually, we allowed him to sleep, and his wedding day had quickly arrived.

After the cake cutting, Ryan and Stacey had a pinata planned for the children. What a nifty idea.
We eventually enjoyed a wonderful supper and slideshow. Then the dancing began.

The wedding was over, and it was time for the guests to head back home. We went to bed late and caught an early flight back to Sioux Falls.
